In accordance with subsections 60(2) and 60(4) of the Species at Risk (NWT) Act, the Conference of Management Authorities is extending the completion date for the recovery strategy for wood bison.
This document was originally scheduled for completion on July 13, 2019. An extension is required to ensure all Management Authorities have time to complete their internal approvals of the recovery strategy, so that the Conference of Management Authorities can complete its consensus agreement on accepting the recovery strategy. An extension to July 30, 2019 is required to accommodate these timelines.
